SYCHEM SPONSORHIP AND PARTICIPATION IN THE GLOBAL WATER SUMMIT 2015

SYCHEM S.A. participated in the international conference Global Water Summit (GWS) held for the first time in Greece and organized by the Global Water Intelligence (GWI) at the Athenaeum Intercontinental on April 27^th – 28^th.

This year’s Global Water Summit focused on theme of the Water Value Revolution – bringing together government and utility leaders, senior executives from across the global water industry, pivotal corporate water users and investors with the ambition to revolutionise the role of water in the global economy.

Mr. Manuel Barroso, former President of the European Commission, honored – among others – the conference by his presence and speech during the ceremony of the Global Water Awards.

It is worth saying that despite that the conference was held in Greece for geopolitical reasons – easy access from Arab and African countries which are particularly growing in the field of water treatment and also from northern Europe and US companies interested in promoting their products – SYCHEM S.A. was the only company from the private sector that represented Greece through sponsorship and participation of its President and CEO Dr-Ing A. Yfantis as the largest company in the field of desalination and water treatment in Greece with significant international activity.
