Motor Oil Hellas runs one of the most complex refinery operations in Southeast Europe. Reliable, high-quality process water is a production requirement. Since 2007, SYCHEM has been the company behind it.

The desalination plant installed at the Corinth refinery is the largest of its kind in Greece, producing 14,000 cubic meters of water per day to meet the facility’s industrial demands. What makes this project stand out, in addition to its scale, is its continuity.

SYCHEM has remained responsible for the plant’s performance from initial installation through ongoing operations, managing maintenance, monitoring output, and ensuring the system keeps pace with the refinery’s evolving needs.
