Automation Engineer / Electrical Engineer
Job brief
SYCHEM Group is looking for an Automation Engineer / Electrical Engineer to support its water treatment and technical support projects in Greece and abroad.
The successful candidate will be based in Agia Paraskevi, Athens, and will report to the Head of Water Treatment Projects & Technical Support. The role involves PLC and HMI programming, electrical design, technical documentation, and on-site or off-site technical support for electromechanical projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs, preferably using Siemens systems.
- Design and prepare documentation for electrical drawings and technical manuals.
- Design industrial control panels and electrical installations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for projects, both on-site and remotely.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of PLC and HMI systems, preferably Siemens.
- Experience with Electrical CADdy and/or EPLAN software.
- Previous experience in a construction site or project site environment.
- Availability to travel in Greece and abroad.
- Familiarity with electromechanical equipment.
- Very good command of English and strong computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills, methodical approach, and excellent collaboration abilities.
- Adaptability and flexibility in demanding work environments.
- Availability to travel within Greece and abroad.
