Automation Engineer / Electrical Engineer
Job brief
SYCHEM Group is looking for an Automation Engineer / Electrical Engineer to support its water treatment and technical support projects in Heraklion, Crete.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and technical support of water treatment facilities. The role reports to the Water Treatment & Technical Support Manager for Crete and requires a hands-on technical profile with strong organizational skills and a team-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain water treatment facilities.
- Record measurements and monitor system performance.
- Carry out preventive maintenance activities.
- Perform fault repair and troubleshooting tasks.
- Provide technical support and assist in resolving technical issues.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field from a Technological Educational Institute or relevant technical school.
- Good command of Greek and English.
- Good computer skills.
- Strong time-management skills and sense of urgency.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Methodical, responsible, and team-oriented approach.
- Valid driving license.
- Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage.
