Assistant Plumber

Job brief

SYCHEM S.A. is looking for an Assistant Plumber to join its Production Unit in the Heraklion Industrial Area, Crete.
The successful candidate will participate in a team responsible for the construction of large-scale plumbing installations, mainly piping networks made of PE materials with diameters up to Φ500. The role involves supporting technical works under the guidance of a Skilled Plumber and the Production Manager. This position is suitable for candidates who are hardworking, eager to learn, and interested in developing their technical skills in a structured production and construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a team constructing large-scale plumbing installations.
  • Support work on piping networks, mainly PE pipes with diameters up to Φ500.
  • Carry out tasks under the guidance of a Skilled Plumber.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Support assembly, installation, and preparation work for plumbing networks.
  • Follow health, safety, quality, and workplace organization instructions.
  • Cooperate with other members of the production and technical teams.

  • Technical education or vocational training will be considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience in any technical profession will be considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience as a plumber or assistant plumber will be considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with PVC, PE, or PPR materials will be considered an advantage.
  • Availability for business travel within and outside Greece, where required, will be considered an advantage.
