Electrician – Maintenance Technician
Job brief
SYCHEM S.A. is looking for an Electrician – Maintenance Technician to join its Construction, Maintenance, and Technical Support Department in Thessaloniki.
The successful candidate will support the operation, supervision, inspection, and maintenance of water treatment units and related electromechanical equipment. The role involves providing technical support, carrying out regular checks, and ensuring the proper and reliable operation of equipment, with travel to project sites across Greece when required.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for water treatment systems and electromechanical equipment.
- Carry out maintenance works on electrical, mechanical, and general MEP equipment.
- Perform regular inspections and operational checks.
- Support the operation and supervision of water treatment units.
- Diagnose faults and assist in resolving technical issues in the field.
- Ensure the proper operation and reliability of equipment during maintenance and support activities.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma from a technical school or other relevant technical institution.
- Specialization in electrical and/or mechanical equipment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and general electromechanical equipment.
- Availability to travel within Greece.
- Professional responsibility and ability to work effectively in technical field operations.
- Additional qualification: Familiarity with pumps and hydraulic networks will be considered an advantage.
