Technician Plumber

Job brief

SYCHEM S.A. is looking for a Skilled Plumber to join its Production Unit in the Heraklion Industrial Area, Crete.

The successful candidate will participate in a team responsible for the construction of large-scale plumbing installations and will guide one or more assistants in carrying out tasks within agreed timeframes and according to technical specifications.

The role requires practical experience in plumbing works, ability to read technical drawings, and the capability to guide a small team within a production or construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a team constructing large-scale plumbing installations.
  • Construct and support plumbing networks and piping systems.
  • Guide one or more assistants in the execution of daily tasks.
  • Organize work according to agreed schedules and specifications.
  • Read technical drawings and apply them in production or project execution.
  • Check that tasks are carried out correctly and according to requirements.
  • Cooperate with the Production Manager and other members of the team.
  • Follow health, safety, quality, and workplace organization rules.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a plumber.
    Experience with PE and PPR materials.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Ability to guide assistants or a small technical team.
  • Hardworking, consistent, and responsible attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
  • Attention to quality and compliance with safety instructions.
  • Technical education or vocational training will be considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience in any technical profession will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in large-scale projects or installations will be considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with production or industrial environments will be considered an advantage.
  • Availability for business travel within and outside Greece, where required, will be considered an advantage.
