On Santorini (Thira) Island, Greece, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant was installed to produce potable water for the Thira Water & Sewage Authority. With a total capacity of 2,500 m³/day, the facility provides a reliable water supply solution for the island, supporting local needs under demanding operating conditions. Completed in 2023, the project contributes to strengthening Santorini’s potable water infrastructure through efficient and proven SW-RO desalination technology.
