SYCHEM has been ranked 16th worldwide based on the total delivered desalination capacity for the period 2024 to 2025, according to the internationally renowned International Desalination and Reuse Association (IDRA) Handbook.
SYCHEM is one of the very few manufacturers of pre-assembled modular desalination plants on the list, while most spots are occupied by large EPC Contractors (Engineering, Procurement, Construction). This recognition is yet another important acknowledgement of the company’s expertise, reliability, and export capacity, as well as confirmation of SYCHEM’s strong presence in the global desalination market.
Large-scale, fast-track projects in Morocco and Cyprus contributed considerably to the company’s international standing over the previous two years.
According to the IDRA Handbook, the desalination market is characterized by a strong concentration of power in a few large companies. Within this context, SYCHEM’s inclusion in the top 20 manufacturers worldwide demonstrates the Greek industry’s potential in the production of high-tech equipment on a global scale.
