SYCHEM completed successfully the first big desalination project for the production of Boiler Feed Water using Reverse Osmosis / Electrodeionization (RO/EDI) technology in Nigeria.

The system consists of 2 desalination units with a capacity of 600 m³/d each for the production of potable and industrial water and of a double pass RO / EDI unit with a capacity of 360 m³/d for water steam production.The total installed capacity of the system exceeds 1.600 m³/d which is used in the food industry “Rom Oil Mills Limited” in Ibadan, Nigeria.

The system was designed, constructed and fully tested under normal operation in SYCHEM factory in Heraklion, Crete. After its trial operation, the system was disassembled and transferred to Nigeria into containers along with all the installation materials. The installation and assembling on site was fulfilled by specialized engineers of SYCHEM ending with start-up, operation control and training.

Client’s complete satisfaction awarded SYCHEM with projects for other industry all units in Nigeria.
