STUDENTS OF TEI OF CRETE VISIT ALMYROS EDUCATIONAL PARK

The first visit of students to the Educational Desalination Park of Almyros took place on Friday 13/6/2014 with the initiative of Professor of TEI of Crete Mr. N. Katsarakis. Approximately 40 students from the Department of Electrical Engineering participated in the event. The tour and presentation lasted 2 hours and was fulfilled by scientific personel from the Operation and Quality Control Department of  SYCHEM. The event ended with information material distibution and water testing from the automatic water dispenser Castalia.
The information on desalination technology and on special ecosystem of Almyros River especially to pupils and students is a key priority of the corporate social responsibility of SYCHEM.
