Sychem and Workable join Endeavor

Sychem and Workable join the global network of Endeavor, non-profit organization supporting high-impact entrepreneurship, at the 64th Endeavor Global International Selection Panel (ISP) in Madrid (25-27 May).

Sychem, represented by its President and Managing Director Alexandros Yfantis, was founded in 2000 and is currently in Greece the largest manufacturer of high quality private desalination projects and specialized installations for open-loop geothermal systems intended mainly for industrial use and large scale hotel units. It is the largest private water producer in Greece with 130 employees and has implemented over 100 projects in 7 countries across Southeast Europe, Asia and Africa.

Workable, represented by its co-founder and CEO Nikos Moraitakis, was launched in 2012 and it helps Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) manage their recruiting with its cloud-based end-to-end recruiting software. SMEs can review and manage CVs, track candidates, schedule interviews and select the most suitable candidates all from a central platform enabling seamless collaboration, saving time and money. Users can also post jobs on dozens of websites, including Indeed, Linkedin, and Monster. Workable today has 5,000 clients in 88 countries, 94 employees and equity capital of US$34.5M raised from several investors.

At this ISP, the culmination of a rigorous entrepreneurs’ selection process locally and internationally, 36 business leaders and members of Endeavor network assessed and selected 41 entrepreneurs, representing 25 companies from 14 countries. Endeavor now supports 1,274 high-impact entrepreneurs from 804 companies in 25 countries, that are given strategic advice and other services according to their needs from Endeavor’s mentors and advisors, have access to its international network and investors. This process helps them further grow their business, create jobs and become role models. Endeavor Entrepreneurs have created more than 500,000 jobs and in 2014 they generated over $8 billion in revenues.

From Greece, Hellas Direct, Papadimitriou, HotelBrain, Insurance Market, ERGON, Brainbox, Think Digital Group, Green Cola, Travelplanet24/Tripsta, blueground, FREZYDERM and Avocarrot are already members of Endeavor network.
