SYCHEM’s participation in the WWPR 2012 International Conference

The WWPR 2012 International Conference has been carried out with great success. It was hosted in Heraklion, Crete, having over 200 worldwide participations.

The conference focus was on scientific researches on innovative water treatment and solid waste technologies and applications.

The president and CEO of the SYCHEM Group, Dr. Ing. A. Yfantis chaired the following two sessions:

SESSION I: MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGY IN WASTE WATER PURIFICATION

SESSION XIV: DESALLINATION: NEW TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES

 

In addition, two more fields relative to the desalination technologies were presented. In precise:

1) INNOVATIVE DESALINATION PLANTS COMBINED WITH GEOEXCHANGE

Finally, SYCHEM organized a tour of more than 50 conference participants, to the new, modern industrial space of SYCHEM S.A in Heraklion, Crete and the subsidiary Hydrominoan S.A, the largest desalination unit of the Group.
