Desalination Plant opening ceremony for 2.500 m³ per day Potable Water Production at Paros Municipality, Greece 22 May 2019.

The opening ceremony of the desalination plant with a nominal capacity of 2.500 m³ per day constructed by SYCHEM took place on the 22^nd of May 2019 at Parikia, Paros. The Desalination unit will produce potable water of excellent quality, confirmed by regular tests and lab analyses according to the Greek and E.U legislation.

The President and Managing Director of SYCHEM S.A. Dr.-Ing A. Yfantis stated also the below:

“ It is a great honor for SYCHEM to be the leading company in water treatment- desalination systems production in Greece with 70% of its annual turnover as exports. Our plants can be found in over 30 countries around the world!

We consider  that taking over desalination plants’ operation in our islands is rather a social responsibility than business”.
