The Exhibition and Conference organized by the European Desalination Society was accomplished with great success from 11-15 of May at Grand Resort Hotel in Cyprus.
The conference focus was on scientific research on innovative water treatment technologies and applications as well as on their environmental and energy saving benefits.
The President and Managing Director of SYCHEM S.A. Dr.-Ing A. Yfantis, during his speech Combined Sea Water Geoexchange Energy Systems and Desalination – The Future Of Coastal Buildings Developments, presented the advantages of the Combined Geoexchange and Desalination Energy System installed at Amathus Beach Hotel. The project was designed and installed by our company and has been awarded by Cyprus Ministry of Energy as the Best Energy Investment for 2010.
After the speech, presentation and tour at the engine room of Amathus Hotel was held by SYCHEM, while members of the scientific community in the field of desalination and representatives from the private sector honored the event that ended with a coctail reception at the hotel roof garden.
Moreover, SYCHEM participated with its own booth in the exhibition along with other internationally distinguished companies in the field of desalination.
